Halloween party with Hard House and Funky House music across two rooms in an old school warehouse venue.
QED are back with another Halloween party at Brighton Electric on Saturday 31 October, running through to Sunday 1 November. It's a two-room night in an old-school warehouse-style venue, with the sound split between the two spaces: hard house in the main room and funky house in The Bar, plus a chill out Garden outside.
In the main room, the hard house is handled by Superfast Oz (Owen Healey Swinerd) and Miss Nasty (Rayna Howe). Over in The Bar, the funky house comes from DJ Lexicorn (Alexa Lexicorn), DJ Jake Duval, and Stu playing under two different alter egos: Pascal Ferrari for the funky and jackin' house, and Textbook Massive for the tech house. Between the two rooms, you've got the garden to step out into when you need a breather.
The organisers describe it as another classic QED party, built around top-quality production in a warehouse-style venue with an outside area and two rooms splitting the sound. It's a long one, too: it kicks off at 18:00 on Saturday and runs right through into Sunday morning, so there's plenty of room to move between the hard house and the funky house throughout the night.
