A Halloween-themed pre-school disco with music for 2-5 year olds at the Church of Saint Michael.
DEEJAVE is bringing a Pre-School Disco to the Church of Saint Michael on Thursday 29 October, and this one is a Halloween special. It's a disco for the little ones — two to five year olds — so it's a chance to get them moving and dancing in the weeks leading up to the big day.
Being a Halloween special, it's the kind of afternoon where costumes are more than welcome. If you've already got a little witch, ghost or superhero in the making, this is a great place to let them show it off. The music is geared towards that pre-school age group, so it's all about the songs they know and love, played loud enough to get them dancing but kept at a level that won't send them over the edge. It's a good way to burn off some energy before the evening wind-down, and since it's on a Thursday, it's something to look forward to in the middle of the week.
The disco starts at 16:00, which is a handy time for anyone who's just finished the school run or is looking for an activity that doesn't eat into the whole evening. It's held at the Church of Saint Michael, 8A Powis Road, BN1 3HJ, right in the heart of Brighton. If you're coming from the centre, it's an easy trip, and the venue is well-known enough that you shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

Tickets are £7 per child, and babes in arms go free, so if you've got a younger one in tow, they can join in without adding to the cost. One thing to keep in mind: an adult must attend with each child, so you'll be right there with them on the dance floor. Between the Halloween theme and the pre-school crowd, it's a simple, straightforward afternoon for anyone with little ones to get into the spirit of the season.
