A masterclass for teenagers aged 13-17 to learn a routine from the musical Legally Blonde, led by professional performer Jodie Steele.
Jodie Steele is leading a musical theatre masterclass for 13 to 17-year-olds at the Theatre Royal on Saturday 17 October, starting at 13:00. It's built around Legally Blonde, the smash-hit musical, and it's aimed at young performers who want to get on a professional stage for the afternoon.
The session starts with a musical theatre warm-up to get everyone moving and ready, and from there you'll learn a routine from Legally Blonde itself. It's not just a dance class, either — it's a full routine from the show, and you'll be learning it from someone who's actually performed it on stage. If you've got a teen in the house who's into singing and dancing, this is a good way to let them work through a piece of a professional production rather than just chatting about it.
That professional connection is the main draw here. Jodie Steele is an actress, singer and dancer who played Margot in Legally Blonde, and more recently took on the role of Paulette Bonafonté in the concert version. She's taught the show from the inside, so she knows exactly how it's supposed to look and sound. Having someone who's been in the cast lead the session means the routine you learn is the real thing, not a simplified version.

It's held at the Theatre Royal on New Road, BN1 1SD, and it's a separate session from the one for 9 to 12-year-olds, which runs on the same day. Tickets are £25.00, and the whole thing kicks off at 13:00 on Saturday 17 October.
