Stripped-back live show and album signing with Ex:Re (Elena Tonra) celebrating the release of her album Save As.
Ex:Re are playing Resident Music on Saturday 31 October, a stripped-back evening and signing to mark the release of the new album, Save As. It's a Halloween date, and the invitation is to turn up in your finest skeleton onesie.
Ex:Re is the solo project of Elena Tonra, who you'll know as the lead singer of Daughter. This is her second record under the name, following the band's 2023 album Stereo Mind Games. She describes Save As as steeped in inventive production and organic, thoughtful songwriting, and the act's top track is 'Romance'.
The night is billed as a stripped-back show, so it's a quieter, more intimate affair than a full-band set. It's a standing event with a limited number of chairs available, strictly for over-18s. Albums are available to collect on the door, and there's priority entry for those who buy one, so if you want to be near the front, that's the way to do it. The signing happens as part of the evening, so you can get your copy signed after the music.
