A darkly comic theatre play about a dinner party where eccentric personalities collide and revenge is served.
Dinner runs at Brighton Little Theatre from 26 January to 30 January 2027. It's a darkly comic play that takes a dinner party and turns it into a satire of marriage, manners and middle-class pretensions, with the promotional material adding that revenge comes with an amuse-bouche.
The story centres on Paige, who's had enough of the banalities of modern life and of her narcissistic philosopher husband. She decides to invite an intriguing collection of guests to a dinner party they won't forget, and as surreal dishes are served, eccentric personalities collide. An unexpected visitor eventually sends the evening spiralling out of control, and the show's promotional material adds that attendance is strongly recommended and escape not guaranteed.

Brighton Little Theatre puts on up to ten productions a year, so this is one of several shows they'll be running across the season. If you're planning to go, there's one practical detail to keep in mind: tickets must be collected from the Box Office no later than 15 minutes before the performance starts, so leave yourself a bit of extra time to get there.
