Brighton Family Panto: Aladdin

If you are already planning your festive calendar for the end of the year, there is a new addition to the Brighton stage scene to keep in mind. The Brighton Family Panto is returning this December with a production of Aladdin, hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton Brighton Metropole. The show is scheduled to run from December 22 to December 30, 2026.

This year’s production features Courtney Act, the drag performer and Celebrity Big Brother winner, who has been cast to play both the Genie of the Ring and the Genie of the Lamp. For those familiar with the local event circuit, this production marks the tenth anniversary of E3 Events producing pantomimes in the city. The company started their run a decade ago with a production of Cinderella at this same venue, and the producer and director, David Hill, has described this upcoming Aladdin as the most ambitious project they have undertaken during that ten-year period.

Since this is a ticketed event, it is worth noting that there is an early bird offer currently available for those who prefer to book ahead. This specific pricing window is set to close at midnight on Monday, June 1, 2026. As the name suggests, the event is structured as a family-oriented pantomime, aiming to provide entertainment for a broad audience looking for seasonal activities in Brighton.
