Sea-themed arts and crafts workshop for children aged 3-10 with their parents, guided by artist Laura Halliwell.
Crafty Kids: Seaside Adventures comes to the Brighton Dome on Sunday 4 October, a sea-themed arts and crafts workshop for children aged 3 to 10. It's led by artist and workshop leader Laura Halliwell, and the whole thing is built around grown-ups and children working together rather than the artist taking over. All the materials are provided, so you just need to turn up.
There are two sessions on the day, one at 11.30am and another at 2pm, each running for 50 minutes. Doors open at 11am for the first and 1.30pm for the second, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before things kick off. The format is designed for a parent or carer to make something alongside their child, with the two of you working collaboratively on the same piece. It's aimed at the 3 to 10 age group, and since it's a shared project, it's as much about the doing as it is about what you end up with.
