Figurative artist Fabian Perez presents a new collection of atmospheric originals and limited editions with drinks, a live DJ and conversation.
Fabian Perez is returning to Clarendon Fine Art on Friday 13 November, and he's bringing a new collection with him. He's a figurative artist, and this one is a proper opening night rather than just a quiet gallery visit — he'll be there in person to talk through the work, with drinks and a live DJ running through the evening.
What's on the walls is a new collection of atmospheric originals and limited editions. The originals are his one-off pieces, and the limited editions are prints produced in a set number, so there's a range of things to look at whether you're just browsing or actually thinking about buying. The evening also has a specific highlight: he'll be unveiling a unique centrepiece artwork, chosen especially for the night, so that's the one thing you'll only see revealed during the event.
It's a good chance to see the work and talk to the artist about it at the same time. If you've never come across him before, he's described as one of the most celebrated figurative artists of his generation, so this is a fair way to get a proper look at what he does. Between the drinks, the DJ, and the conversation, it's set up more like a party than a formal viewing, and having him there to talk through the new collection makes it a bit more than just walking around a room of paintings.
