Hands-on pottery workshop at Parkside Pottery to make a tea-light Christmas tree and a tea-light house, for guests aged ten and over.
Parkside Pottery is running a Christmas pottery workshop on Saturday 5 December at 19 Park Close, Brighton and Hove, and it's a proper hands-on one. Over the course of the session, you'll make two things: a tea-light Christmas tree and a tea-light house. Both are designed to hold a tea-light, so they're meant to be lit up rather than just sat on a shelf. You'll finish them off with glazes, and everyone takes home a handmade pottery item.
Behind it is Parkside Pottery, a women-owned studio run by a founder who started as a textile designer. She spent more than 24 years in the non-profit sector, including over a decade as a Senior Account Manager in media agencies and another ten connecting artists with businesses. She's also a qualified business coach, and she runs a fully equipped studio where she holds pottery painting, clay-crafting workshops and social events. The class sizes are kept small, from one to six guests, so you're not just one of thirty people in a room.

It's open to adults and children aged ten and over, though any child needs an adult with them, and they'll need their own ticket. The session costs £60 per guest, and ClassBento donates 50p from every booking to Mental Health UK.
