A festive social deduction escape room where players are assigned as Nice or Naughty Elves and must outwit each other to get on Father Christmas's sleigh.
The Sleighers is coming to Preston Manor this December, a festive social deduction game that puts you in the shoes of an elf fighting for a spot on Father Christmas's sleigh. It's a collaboration between Pier Pressure and Brighton Museums, and the whole thing runs for around two hours.
Here's the gist: everyone is secretly assigned as either a Nice Elf or a Naughty Elf, and you spend the game trying to outwit the other side. The Nice Elves have to figure out who the Naughty ones are and vote them out, but the Naughty Elves have a secret weapon — they can sneak around and throw snowballs at the Nice Elves to knock them out of the game. Father Christmas is the one deciding who actually makes the cut, so you'll want to be on the right side of the vote when it comes down to it.

It's aimed at ages 10 and over, so it works as a family thing or a group outing with friends. There are drinks and nibbles available to buy on-site, which is handy if you're planning to make a proper afternoon of it. The game runs on Saturday 5 December, Saturday 19 December, Wednesday 23 December, and Wednesday 30 December, all starting at 4:00pm. If you've got a larger group, private bookings for 12 or more can be arranged for other dates by email.
