An immersive prehistoric journey featuring realistic dinosaurs, fossils, and evolutionary history presented by the Natural History Museum.
Dinosaurs Live! comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 11 July, a production from the Natural History Museum in London. It's their first time taking the show on tour, and the Bournemouth stop is part of that run.

It's a prehistoric journey through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, with life-sized dinosaurs appearing live on stage. Along the way, the show brings in the science behind the spectacle: there's information on fossils, the vast timescales involved, and how the planet evolved over millions of years. It's presented by the Natural History Museum in collaboration with Mark Thompson Productions, so it's a museum production brought to the stage rather than a stand-alone theatre show.
It's aimed at families and younger audiences, with a recommendation for ages 3 and up. If you've got little ones who spend their afternoons talking about T-rex and Triceratops, this is exactly the kind of thing they'll get a kick out of.
Doors open at 12:00, and the first act runs from 12:30 to 13:30 — though that's an approximate time and might shift a bit. Tickets start at £21.75, and there's a family pass for four at £73. It's a paid event, so you'll want to book your seats in advance, either by phone or through the website. The venue is the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Westover Road, BH1 2BU.
