A festive storytelling session with Santa Claus in Bournemouth Square, part of the Christmas in Bournemouth programme.
Santa Claus is taking to the stage in Bournemouth Square this Christmas for a series of storytelling sessions. He makes his appearance in the town centre after finishing his storytelling at Santa's Workshop, where he steps out to share a festive story with families. The session runs for around 45 minutes and is part of the Christmas in Bournemouth programme.
It's a storytelling session rather than a dedicated meet-and-greet, so the focus is on the story itself rather than a chat with the big man. If you're after one-to-one time with Santa, that's available through the separate storytelling sessions at Santa's Workshop. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and bookings are limited to six people per session, so it's a small, focused group rather than a big crowd.

You'll find him in Bournemouth Square, next to the Alpine Lodge in the town centre (BH2 6ED), with the sessions starting at 5:30pm and running until Wednesday 24 December. It's completely free to enjoy, so you can drop in with the little ones without worrying about the cost. Between the early start and the Christmas Eve cutoff, there are plenty of dates to choose from if you're planning your December.
