Lunchtime Hatha yoga class suitable for all levels, led by instructor Mala, open to guests from outside the building.
Yoga at 11 Brindleyplace returns to Eleven BrindleyPlace on Wednesday 21 October, with the class running from 13:15 to 14:00. It's a Hatha Yoga session led by instructor Mala, and it's open to all ages and fitness levels, provided you're 18 or over. The class isn't suitable if you're pregnant.
The session starts with a short warm-up, followed by a series of guided postures to stretch and strengthen the body. Because it's Hatha, the focus is on holding poses rather than flowing quickly between them, so it's a good one if you're just starting out or if you prefer a slower pace. Mats are provided on-site, though you're welcome to bring your own if you have a favourite. There's also a cafe on the ground floor if you fancy a drink before or after.
It's worth knowing where this comes from. The yoga is part of the wellbeing offering at Eleven BrindleyPlace, one of Birmingham's premium office buildings. These lunchtime sessions started as a perk for the people who work in the building, but they've since been opened up to guests from outside, as part of the building's aim to be a beacon in the community. So, while it's hosted in a workplace, it's not just for the tenants.

That brings us to the cost: it's £2.50 for guests from outside the building, and free for tenants of 11 BrindleyPlace. The class runs from 13:15 to 14:00 on Wednesday 21 October at Eleven BrindleyPlace, 11 BrindleyPlace, Birmingham B1 2LP.
