Indoor Christmas funfair with unlimited rides, a giant ice rink, a festival circus, a motorbike stunt show and Santa's grotto across 25,000 square metres.
Winter Funland returns to the NEC Birmingham from 5 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, taking over Hall 5 of the NEC Campus. It's the UK's largest indoor Christmas funfair, and it's become a bit of a tradition for tens of thousands of families across the Midlands. The whole thing runs under one roof across 25,000 square metres, so you can get your festive fix without having to dodge the rain.
What makes it work is that almost everything is included in the ticket price. There's a full-sized fair with unlimited rides, a gigantic ice rink, a festival circus, a motorbike stunt show, Santa's grotto and a craft arena. Mischievous elves pop up around the venue, and there's a Christmas-market atmosphere of festive food and drink to keep you going between the attractions. And since it's all indoors, you can wear your Christmas jumper without worrying about the weather.
Sessions run from 11am to 3pm and 5pm to 9pm, each lasting four hours from the time stated on your ticket. If you're planning on the ice rink, just keep in mind the minimum age for skating is four.
