The UK's biggest toy collectors fair with more than 500 stalls of vintage and new collectable toys and models.
The Toy Collectors Fair is back at the NEC on Sunday 27 December, taking over Hall 18 for a single day between Christmas and New Year. It's billed as the UK's biggest toy collectors fair, and the scale of it is easy to see: more than 500 stalls under one roof, with thousands of collectables from across the decades. If you've got a thing for toys, it's a lot to work through in one afternoon.
The range covers a huge stretch of time. There are rare vintage toys from the 1950s and 60s, cult retro finds from the 70s, 80s and 90s, and the very latest brand-new releases. What you'll find depends on what you're after: action figures, Lego, model cars and lorries, teddy bears, Star Wars collectables, Scalextric, Pokemon cards, model railways and Funko POP vinyl figures. The prices are meant to suit all pockets, so it works whether you're hunting for a specific rarity or just browsing for something that takes you back.
It's a one-day event, and tickets are sold on the day at the door, so there's no advance booking to worry about. Doors open at 10.30am and run until 3pm, which gives you a good few hours to get around the stalls. Parking is free for Toy Fair visitors, and there are refreshments available throughout the day, so you can take a break when you need one. One practical tip: bring cash, as some vendors don't accept cards.
