The UK's biggest mixed craft event with hundreds of exhibitors, hands-on workshops, live demonstrations and make-and-take projects.
The Creative Craft Show is at the NEC Campus, Hall 12 from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November. It's part of the ICHF Events series that tours the country, and it's billed as the UK's biggest mixed craft event. If you're into making things, it's one of those days where you can just lose yourself in it.
There are hundreds of exhibitors covering just about every corner of the crafting world. You'll find sewing, quilting and embroidery alongside jewellery making, papercraft, card making, felting and mixed media. It's a mixed bag, so you can drift from one thing to another without having to commit to just one craft. Beyond the shopping at specialist retailers, there are hands-on workshops to join, live demonstrations to watch and new tools to try out, with make-and-take projects you can work on while you're there. There's also a VIP section for those who want a bit more.
One thing that makes it easier to spend the whole day is that a single ticket also grants access to the other shows running alongside it, so you can move between them throughout the day rather than sticking to one hall. If you're into more than one craft, it's a good way to see a few different things in one go.
