Family rock stage show adapted from the best-selling children's books by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter.
The Dinosaur That Pooped comes to Birmingham Town Hall on Sunday 8 November, a family show adapted from the best-selling books by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter. If you've got kids who've read the books, this is the stage version of that story, and it's touring the UK this year.
The plot follows Danny and Dino, two friends whose favourite rock band is playing their last-ever concert. They set off on a quest to get the final two tickets, all while a villainous band manager lurks in the background. It's billed as a family show full of laughs and a whole lot of poo, and since it's based on a rock band, there's plenty of music to it. Fletcher and Poynter wrote new songs specifically for the stage production, so it's not just the story from the books—there's a fair bit of original material in there too.

It's a daytime slot, which makes it an easy one to work around a Sunday morning. The show starts at 12:30pm at Birmingham Town Hall, in Victoria Square (B3 3DQ), so you'll be right in the city centre. Tickets start from £17, and the production is touring the UK throughout the year, with more dates planned for 2027.
