The Actress Big Quiz

The Actress Big Quiz is back at The Actress & Bishop on Monday 19 October, part of their regular Monday night run. It's a fast-paced, phone-based pub quiz, which means no pens and no paper — you and your mates just use your smartphones to battle it out for prizes and bragging rights. The venue describes it as 'no cheating', so it's just you, your team, and your phones against the rest of the room.

If you haven't been to The Actress & Bishop before, it's a Birmingham home for live music across the board, from metal and rap to rock 'n' roll and disco. It also stages 'ACM Sounds', a free monthly night devoted to students of the Academy of Contemporary Music to help them develop their live shows, so the place is used to a wide range of sounds and crowds. The quiz sits alongside that musical side of things, bringing a different kind of Monday night to the venue.

The quiz runs every Monday night from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, so this one kicks off at 8:00 pm and runs through until 11:00 pm. It's a three-hour stretch, giving you plenty of time to get through the rounds and see where your team lands on the leaderboard.
