Live concert by Belfast singer-songwriter Ruth Trimble at the Kitchen Garden Cafe on York Road.
Ruth Trimble plays the Kitchen Garden Cafe on Wednesday 11 November, with the set starting at 7:30 PM. She's a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and this is a solo headline show.
Trimble has been recording for over a decade. Her first album, Things I Want To Say, came out in 2012, and she's toured the UK and Ireland since then, supporting Clannad and sharing stages with Olivia Newton-John, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Judie Tzuke. The title track of her 2013 Christmas release, Each Christmas Till Then, caught the attention of BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris and brought her music to a wider radio audience. In 2016 she released her third album, Before The Rain, and has also worked as a producer, co-producing Robin Mark's 2014 album Liberation Praise.
After an eight-year gap, 2024 brought her new album, Peace Of Mind. Its first single, 'Love Light', gained her more than 2,500 new Spotify listeners within weeks of its release. She's as well known for her wit as she is for her music, and has been praised by both Bob Harris and Grammy nominee Beth Nielsen Chapman.
