Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan plays bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham on Thursday 26 November, bringing his folk sound to the city. He's the only name on the bill, so it's just him and his band for the night.

Most of us know the songs, even if we've never seen him live. 'Blowin' in the Wind', 'Like a Rolling Stone' and 'The Times They Are A-Changin'' are the ones that usually come to mind, and they're the kind of songs that have stayed in the air for decades. He's been shaping popular music for more than sixty years, and those early folk records are where a lot of that started.

There's a fair bit of history behind the name, too. He's a Nobel Prize winner and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and he's still touring and playing live long after most people would have called it a day. His live shows have a reputation for changing from night to night, so you never quite know which version of a song you're going to get.

The gig starts at 8:00 pm, with doors opening at 6:00 pm, so there's plenty of time to get in and find your spot before he takes the stage. Tickets start from £85 plus fees.
