Over-18s Halloween Eve karaoke night celebrating Paramore's back catalogue at The Actress & Bishop in the Jewellery Quarter.
Paramore GB are taking over The Actress & Bishop on Friday 30 October, the night before Halloween, for a karaoke session built around Paramore's back catalogue. It's a sing-along night rather than a standard gig, so the songs come from the crowd as much as the stage.
The set is a run through the band's discography, and the organisers describe it as wall-to-wall anthems, huge riffs and all the emo energy you could ask for. It's aimed at fans who've followed them since the Riot! era and those who've kept 'Still Into You' on repeat, with the night framed as a chance to bring back the eyeliner and the sing-along energy of 2007. If you spent your teens singing along to Riot! in your bedroom, this is exactly the kind of thing that'll pull you back in.
The Actress & Bishop is a traditional pub in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, known for hosting many of the city's best local gigs. It's a familiar spot for live music in the area, and this night fits right in with the kind of things it does. One thing to keep in mind: the night is strictly for over-18s, so you'll need ID on you.
