10th anniversary edition of the running show, with technology, nutrition, footwear and equipment for runners training for spring events.
The National Running Show is back at the NEC Campus, Hall 18 on 30 and 31 January 2027, and this time it's the 10th anniversary edition. It's billed as the biggest running community meet-up of the year, and it lives up to that: you'll find running enthusiasts alongside inspirational influencers, elite endurance and trail runners, and Olympic athletes. If you're into running, it's one of those days where you can actually rub shoulders with the people you usually only see on a screen or at the front of a race.
Coming in late January, it's timed for when most of us are training for spring events. That's when the gear starts to matter—when you're wondering if your shoes are still up to the task or if your nutrition is holding you back. The show brings the latest technology, nutrition, footwear and equipment all under one roof, so you can compare them side by side rather than scrolling through a dozen different tabs. There's also expert advice on hand to help you sort out your plan for the season ahead.
It's part of the NEC's Nations Experience Capital programme, so it's more than just a trade show; it's a proper gathering of the community. Whether you're training for your first 5K or you're deep into ultra-marathons, the mix of elite athletes and everyday runners is what makes it work. You can pick up the latest kit and get a bit of inspiration for the miles ahead in one go.

It runs from 9am to 5pm on both days, so you've got plenty of time to wander. A day ticket is £15, and a weekend ticket is £25 if you want to spread it across the two days.
