Over-18s junk journaling evening with a cosy autumn theme and bookmark making, hosted by Selam Journals at Alfred Works.
The Junk Journal & Scrapbooking Club are hosting a cosy season workshop at Alfred Works on Wednesday 28 October, from 18:30 to 20:00. It's a mid-week evening of junk journalling with an autumn theme, run by @selamjournals.
Blank bookmarks are handed out along with goodies to decorate them, and if you'd rather skip the bookmark making, you can just settle into a relaxed junk journal session instead. The whole thing is about layering and collecting: pressed leaves, teabag stains and personal bits like photos, receipts or ticket stubs are encouraged as additions to the pages. It's the kind of session where the scraps you've saved up over the last few months finally find a home.
One thing to keep in mind: journals aren't included, so you'll need to bring your own or buy one as an add-on. The evening is for over-18s only, and tickets are non-refundable. Paid parking is available nearby, which is handy if you're coming from outside the city centre.
