Live gig by the Black Country indie rock band Headwired at The Sunflower Lounge.
Headwired play The Sunflower Lounge on Friday 6 November, with doors opening at 7:30pm. They're a four-piece indie rock band from the Black Country, formed in 2023 and fronted by Joseph Roberts, Frankie Cast, George Langford and Jack Redfern. They've put out six singles since they started, among them Carousel, which has run up over 120,000 streams, and Head In The Clouds, released in January 2026, which has since become a live staple.
Their sound draws on Oasis, the Stone Roses and the Arctic Monkeys, and they've spent the last couple of years building a following on TikTok, where they went from 300 to nearly 20,000 in six months. That online growth has translated into a fair few sold-out headline gigs, including two hometown shows. The night is presented by Border Live Agency.
