Beginner-friendly Halloween wreath-making workshop with all craft materials, a scone and a goody bag at Bazar, Harvey Nichols.
Bazar at Harvey Nichols is hosting a Halloween wreath making workshop on Saturday 31 October, run by Ethereal events as part of their Halloween programme. It's a morning session, 11:00 to 12:30, with doors opening at 10:40, so you'll be done and home well before the actual trick-or-treating kicks off in the evening.
The workshop is pitched at complete beginners and experienced makers alike, and it's described as a relaxed, creative way to get into the spooky spirit. You pick from creepy, cute and quirky decorations — spiders and cobwebs, mini pumpkins, bats and ghostly touches — and leave with a handmade wreath to hang on your door. It's the kind of thing you can do on your own or bring a friend along for, and the focus is more on the process than on coming out with a masterpiece.
Everything is provided on the day: all the craft materials you'll need, step-by-step guidance to get you through it, a scone with cream and jam, and a goody bag to take home. Under-14s have to attend with a parent or legal guardian, so it works as a family activity too. Free parking is available, which is a handy detail for getting into the city centre on a Saturday.
