Live gig by Irish singer-songwriter Fionn Regan at the Kitchen Garden Cafe in Kings Heath, part of his 2027 Ireland, UK and EU tour.
Fionn Regan plays the Kitchen Garden Cafe in Kings Heath on Monday 15 March 2027, as part of his tour across Ireland, the UK and the EU. He's an Irish singer-songwriter with a career stretching back more than two decades, and this is a headline show with him as the sole bill.
He first made his mark with the acoustic poetry of his 2006 debut, The End of History, which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. He reached new audiences with 2011's 100 Acres of Sycamore, and its track 'Dogwood Blossom' ended up in the TV shows Normal People and Shane Meadows's This Is England '86. Cillian Murphy starred in the video for his 2017 song 'The Meeting Of The Waters', and Bon Iver has sampled his work. He's been nominated for Choice, Meteor Ireland and Shortlist awards, photographed by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair and made an honorary member of the Trinity College Literary Society.
Following 2024's acclaimed O Avalanche comes Berlin, Berlin, his eighth album and his first on his new label, Cormorant Bird. He recorded it in East London in five or six days, and he describes it as a darker, more nocturnal twin to its predecessor. The Birmingham date is one stop on the 2027 tour that takes the new material across Ireland, the UK and the EU.
