Indie rock band Esmeralda Road headline at The Sunflower Lounge with support from Polar Bolero.
Esmeralda Road play The Sunflower Lounge on Thursday 15 October, with support from Polar Bolero. It's a double bill in one of Birmingham's grass-roots venues: a small-capacity room where the audience stands close to the stage and the bill changes every week.
That grass-roots label is a specific one. The industry defines it as a UK show at an independent venue, typically capped under 600, by an artist not on a major-label arena tour, played in pubs, basement bars, indie clubs, community halls and small festivals. The Sunflower Lounge fits that description, and this particular night is presented by SJM Concerts and Live Nation. It's open to all ages, so you don't need to be over 18 to get in.

Esmeralda Road take the headline slot, and Polar Bolero open the night. Both are playing the same room, so you'll see them one after the other. Doors open at 19:30, and the night finishes by 22:30, which gives you a few hours of music without running too late into the evening. The venue is in Ladywood, Birmingham, B5 4EG.
