Coffeehouse Chess

Coffeehouse Chess returns to Jubilee Garden Coffee House on Tuesday 27 October, with the session starting at 10:00. It's a morning of chess in the coffee house, just as the name suggests, and it's free to enter, so you can turn up and play without having to book ahead or pay a door fee.

If you can't make the 27th, there are two more sessions coming up shortly after: Tuesday 3 November and Tuesday 10 November, both also starting at 10:00. They're all on the same Tuesday morning slot, so if you're in the area on any of those dates, you've got three chances to get a game in rather than just one.

The venue is Jubilee Garden Coffee House in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, postcode B72 1QG. It's a morning session, so it's more of a mid-week thing than a weekend outing — a good one if you're around on a Tuesday morning and fancy a few games over a coffee. Entry is free for all three dates, and they all kick off at 10:00.
