Christmas wreath-making workshop held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens is hosting a Christmas wreath making workshop on Thursday 19 November, with two separate sessions to choose from: one at 10:00am and another at 6:00pm. It's a hands-on morning or evening where you'll build your own wreath from scratch, so you'll walk away with something you actually made yourself rather than just buying one off a shelf.
Having it at the Botanical Gardens makes sense for a workshop like this. You're surrounded by plants and greenery, which is exactly what you'll be working with, and it's a far more relaxed setting than a high-street studio. If you're not usually one for crafting, it's a good place to start—the whole point is to get your hands dirty and come home with a finished wreath for your front door.
With the two different times, it works whether you fancy a mid-morning break or something to do after work. The 10:00am session is a good shout if you're out and about during the day, and the 6:00pm one fits in around a normal working day. You'll be guided through the process, so you don't need to have any experience with flowers or wreaths to join in.

It's a nice way to get a bit of Christmas sorted well before the December rush kicks in, and you'll have something handmade to hang up when the time comes. The workshop runs at Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Thursday 19 November, with sessions at 10:00am and 6:00pm.
