Cinema under the stars screening of 'Love Actually' at the Thinktank planetarium, with a starry backdrop and no trailers.
Thinktank is screening Love Actually on Saturday 5 December, as part of their 'Cinema under the stars' season. It's not a standard cinema run: they're showing it in the planetarium, which means you're watching the film on the big screen inside the dome, with a backdrop of twinkling stars around you. It's one of several Christmas titles they're running this December, alongside Elf, Die Hard and The Muppet Christmas Carol, so if you're in the mood for a few festive nights out, there's plenty to pick from.
Love Actually is rated 15, and the film starts at 7.30pm with no trailers, so it gets straight to the movie. The screening is in the Thinktank Planetarium on Level 3 of the museum, and the main Thinktank doors open from 7pm at the Level 0 entrance, which gives you plenty of time to get inside and find your spot before the start. Seating is unallocated, so if you're keen on a particular place, it's worth arriving a bit early.

Pre-booking is essential, so you'll need to get your tickets sorted in advance rather than turning up on the night. Love Actually is on Saturday 5 December, film starts at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm at the Level 0 entrance.
