Cinema under the stars screening of 'Die Hard' projected on the Thinktank Planetarium dome, with unallocated seats and pre-booking essential.
Die Hard is coming to the Thinktank Planetarium on Friday 4 December, as part of Thinktank's Christmas Cinema season. It's a cinema-style screening of the 1988 action classic, projected on the museum's big cinema screen inside the dome rather than in a full-dome format, and it runs for 132 minutes. The film is rated 18 for strong violence and is more suited to older teenagers, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of bringing anyone younger.
It's one of several titles in the season, with The Muppet Christmas Carol, Elf and Love Actually each on their own date, so you can pick and choose the ones that work for you. Seating is unallocated, and pre-booking is essential as places are limited. The bar is open and serving drinks before the film starts, so there's plenty of time to grab something and settle in.
