After-hours Halloween family night at W5 with trick-or-treat stations, a Monster Mash Disco, face painting, balloon modelling and a live science show.
W5 is staying open after dark for its Halloween Family Night on Thursday 28 October, from 6pm to 9pm. It's a return by popular demand, so if you've been before, you'll know the drill: the museum keeps its doors open well into the evening for a few hours of spooky family fun. The night is part of the wider Halloween at W5 season, which runs from 17 October to 1 November.
There's plenty to keep you moving around the building. You can hunt for treats at Trick-or-Treat Stations scattered throughout, and take on 'Splat the Bat' in the Immersive Space. Face painting and balloon modelling are on hand to get everyone Halloween-ready, and there are live animal encounters to see. For the music, there's a Monster Mash Disco, and a Fancy Dress Competition where the best-dressed family wins a W5 Membership.
On the science side, the evening includes Pumpkins and Potions, a live show of eerie experiments, and the immersive Spooky Square, where you help Boo Ghost uncover its Halloween mysteries. If you fancy a bit of shopping, there's 15% off everything in the W5 Gift Shop on the night.
