The Emmy Award-winning five-piece harmony group The Shamrocks play their biggest Belfast headline date to date on their debut UK tour.
The Shamrocks play The O2 Belfast on Friday 20 November, their biggest Belfast headline date to date. It's the final stop of their debut UK tour, which kicked off at Birmingham Symphony Hall on 17 October and runs through to this show.
They're a five-piece cross-community harmony and multi-instrumental group formed in 2018, and the line-up is built around two sets of brothers: Jack and Raymond Walsh, Jimmy and Nathan Johnston, and Matthew Campbell. Their set reimagines Irish classics like Danny Boy, Wild Rover and Whiskey In The Jar alongside their own original compositions, and they're billed as one of Northern Ireland's greatest ever exports.
It's a big step up for them. They've played more than 30 countries, from the Sydney Opera House to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and reached over 10 million people on the Today Show. They also recorded a live concert at Belfast's Ulster Hall that won two regional Emmy Awards. This date follows two sold-out shows at Waterfront Hall, so they're moving into a larger room for the tour's home stretch.

They aren't the only ones on the bill. The night opens with Talisk, Keith Harkin and Niall McNamee, so there's a full run of support before the main set. Doors open at 6:30pm, though the venue notes that times are subject to change.
