The Script play The O2 Belfast with special guest James Morrison on their 'The Man in the Arena Tour', supporting their album 'The User's Guide To Being Human'.
The Script are bringing The Man in the Arena Tour to The O2 Belfast on Monday 2 November, with James Morrison as special guest. It's their first Belfast date since their last run through the city, and they're touring the new album, The User's Guide To Being Human, which came out on 14 August. The tour takes its name from the lead single, 'Man In The Arena', the first taste of the record.
There's a fair bit of weight behind this one. The new album follows 2024's Satellites, on which frontman Danny O'Donoghue processed the grief after the death of his bandmate and friend Mark Sheehan in 2023. Every show on the tour that followed has paid tribute to him, and this Belfast date will be no different. The User's Guide To Being Human was recorded in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles, and written with Andrew Frampton, Steve Kipner and Jimbo Barry — the same team who worked on many of the band's biggest songs, including 'Hall Of Fame', 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' and 'Breakeven'.

Over their career, The Script have sold 4.5 million tickets, reached six UK number one albums and eight back home in Ireland, and picked up countless international Platinum certifications. James Morrison opens the night, so you'll get two sets for the price of one. It's a general admission standing show, over 14s only, with doors opening at 6:30pm — though times are subject to change, so keep an eye on the venue for any updates before you head down.
