House music producer and DJ MK, real name Marc Kinchen, plays The Telegraph Building on Royal Avenue.
MK is playing The Telegraph Building on Friday 5 March, a second Belfast date added after the Saturday 6 March show sold out. He's a Detroit-born producer, DJ and songwriter, and one of the first superstars of house music. His early hits 'Burning', 'Always' and '4You' helped define the deeper side of US house and influenced producers worldwide, and he's credited with some of the biggest tracks of early house.
Since then, he's moved from the underground into the charts. He has more than 3 billion global streams and seven Platinum-certified singles. His 2014 rework of Storm Queen's 'Look Right Through' hit number one on the UK singles chart, followed by multi-platinum hits 'Pieces Of Me', '17' and 'Back & Forth'. More recently, 'Rhyme Dust' with Dom Dolla became the house song of the summer in 2023.
He's also the de-facto remixer for a long list of major artists: Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Lana Del Rey, Sam Smith, Pharrell, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure and Mary J. Blige. He picked up his first ARIA Award in Australia along the way.
