Intimate cabaret-style jazz night, the Blue Room Sessions, with the Linley Hamilton Trio playing warm, expressive jazz on trumpet, piano and acoustic bass.
The Linley Hamilton Trio play The Harrison Hotel on Monday 2 November, part of the Blue Room Sessions. It's a Monday night jazz set in the hotel's Chambers of Distinction, presented by Monday Club Events as 'A Rare Monday Night Encounter'.
On the night, the trio brings together trumpet, piano and acoustic bass. Linley Hamilton is on trumpet, with Rohan Armstrong on acoustic bass and Zak Irvine on piano. The Blue Room Sessions are set up as an intimate cabaret-style jazz night: fully seated with tables and candlelight, and capacity is strictly limited to 30 seats, with no tickets sold on the door. The audience is invited to meet up in the hotel's Napoleon's Nose bar before and after the show.
The Harrison Hotel on Malone Road in South Belfast is a Victorian building that hosts a year-round programme of cultural events, including musical soirées, art exhibitions and immersive murder-mystery experiences. It's also home to Napoleon's Nose Bar and the McKowski Café, where weekly local jazz, blues and folk sessions are played. The Chambers of Distinction is the specific space within the hotel where the Blue Room Sessions take place.
