Lighthouse Family play the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on their 2027 UK and Ireland reunion tour, celebrating their album 'Ocean Drive'.
Lighthouse Family play the Waterfront Hall on Wednesday 3 March, as part of their 2027 UK and Ireland reunion tour. The Belfast date is one of several stops on the run, which also includes Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre, York, Bournemouth, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.
The duo formed in Newcastle in the early 1990s, with vocalist Tunde Baiyewu and keyboardist and producer Paul Tucker. Their 1995 debut, Ocean Drive, went six times platinum in the UK and brought them hits like 'Lifted', 'Goodbye Heartbreak' and the title track. The 1997 follow-up, Postcards from Heaven, also reached six times platinum, with 'High', 'Raincloud' and 'Lost in Space'. A third album, Whatever Gets You Through the Day, came out in 2001 before the two split in 2003.
They reunited in 2019 with Blue Sky in Your Head, their first studio album in 18 years, which reached number three on the UK album chart. The Belfast show is part of the tour they're taking that reunion back on the road. On the night, they'll be joined by special guests.
