A musical journey through Irish culture with Irish hits, dynamic choreography and storytelling.
Ireland The Show! comes to the Grand Opera House on Monday 15 March, with a second performance on Tuesday 16 March. Both nights start at 7:30pm, so if you're coming from work, you've got a bit of time to get sorted before it kicks off.
It's billed as a musical journey through the heart of Irish culture, a celebration of Irish music, song and comedy that's grown into a global sensation and delivers a lively, authentic Irish hooley. The show carries you from the windswept cliffs of Galway to the cobbled streets of Dublin, leaning on iconic Irish hits like 'The Irish Rover', 'The Galway Girl' and 'Whiskey in the Jar', all woven together with dynamic choreography and storytelling. It's as much about the dancing and the stories as it is about the songs, so it's a full evening rather than just a concert.
It runs for two hours and twenty minutes, including an interval, and is recommended for ages six and above, which makes it an easy one to bring the kids along to if you're planning a family night out. The venue is the Grand Opera House, Northern Ireland's most iconic theatre, right in the heart of Belfast.
