Irish comedy trio Foil, Arms & Hog bring their live show of sketch comedy, audience participation and improvisation to the Grand Opera House.
Foil, Arms & Hog are playing the Grand Opera House from Wednesday 26 May to Saturday 29 May 2027, with every show starting at 7:30pm. They're an Irish comedy trio who've built a massive following online, with more than a billion views to their name, and this is their live show brought to Belfast.
The set mixes sketch comedy, audience participation and improvisation, so it's not just a series of pre-written scenes — they'll be working with the room as they go. It's a long one, running for two hours and twenty minutes including the interval, and it's recommended for ages 14 and over.
They've played some of the biggest stages there are, with sold-out nights at New York's Carnegie Hall, The London Palladium and the Sydney Opera House, and they've picked up endorsements from Woody Harrelson and Emma Thompson along the way. The reviews have been strong: critics have called it 'fantastically funny' and 'an effervescent hour of fast-paced gags, fizzing with energy, invention and great lines'. The Irish Times described their stage presence as 'masterful', Ed Fest Mag called it 'sensational' and Metro called it 'relentlessly funny'.
