Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit play the Waterfront Hall with their brother Isak Benjamin on the Visions of the Past tour.
First Aid Kit play Waterfront Hall on Tuesday 19 January 2027, with their younger brother Isak Benjamin opening. It's the second stop of their Visions of the Past tour, which kicks off in Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre.
The tour takes its name from a lyric in 'Ghost Town', a live favourite from their 2010 debut, and the set follows that lead. They're drawing on music from their first 2008 EP right through to brand-new songs, alongside unreleased material and rarities and covers suggested by fans. It's a long look back across their catalogue rather than a run around a single new record.
First Aid Kit are sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, a Swedish folk duo who have released music together since they were teenagers. They've built their sound on close harmonies, expressive melodies and thoughtful storytelling, and have been nominated twice for a BRIT Award as an international group. After 2010's The Big Black and the Blue and 2012's The Lion's Roar, they reached critical mass with 2014's Stay Gold, whose lead single 'My Silver Lining' went gold in the UK. 2018's Ruins went gold in Sweden and earned four stars from The Guardian, Q and NME, while 2022's Palomino drove their biggest tour to date. Along the way they've collaborated with PINK, Jenny Lewis, Conor Oberst, George Ezra and Zara Larsson.
