Stand-up show by Fin Taylor, podcast host of 'Fin vs History', on his UK tour 'The Pre-emptive Comeback Special' at the Ulster Hall.
Fin Taylor is playing Ulster Hall on Tuesday 20 October, one stop on a 21-date UK tour he's calling The Pre-emptive Comeback Special. It's his biggest run yet, and the title does most of the heavy lifting — it's a comedian leaning into the joke of a comeback before he's even been away.
If you're not familiar, Taylor is a podcast host, stand-up and TV personality who bills himself as 'The King of the Internet Jungle'. He's built a fair bit of his recent reputation on the podcasting front: Fin vs History hit the charts, and he's followed that up with the interview series Fin vs the Internet. This tour is the live extension of that, taking the persona from the headphones to the stage.
He's a regular on the TV circuit, too. You'll recognise him from Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg, Roast Battle, The Mash Report, 8 out of 10 Cats, Have a Word and Parenting Hell. That's a broad spread of panel shows and comedy formats, so he's well-versed in the kind of fast-paced, reactive style that works in a room like this.
