Drake Milligan brings his Tumbleweed World Tour to Ulster Hall on Wednesday 25 November, with Josh Weathers opening the night. Milligan is a country traditionalist from Fort Worth, Texas, who names George Strait and Elvis Presley as his musical heroes and plays classic country with the swagger of early rock 'n' roll. He burst onto the national scene in 2022 with his debut album, Dallas/Fort Worth, which topped the iTunes Country and All-Genre charts, hit number five on Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart, and was named one of the magazine's Best Country Albums of 2022.
Since then, he's played The Grand Ole Opry, Stagecoach and the CMA Music Festival, and became the first artist to perform on an F1 racetrack, at the inaugural F1 Grid Gigs in Austin. In 2024 he released the EP Jukebox Songs, which featured 'I Got A Problem', and toured alongside Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton. With more than 230 million streams worldwide, his sophomore album Tumbleweed gives the name to this global tour.
