Country music concert by Cody Johnson, artist of the 2024 CMA Album of the Year 'Leather', at The O2 Belfast.
Cody Johnson plays The O2 Belfast on Wednesday 4 November, with doors opening at 6:30pm. He's a platinum recording artist on COJO Music and Warner Music Nashville, and the show is billed as Cody Johnson, with no other names on the line-up.
If you haven't come across him, he's a country artist who's been building a proper name for himself over the last few years. He's released six albums, and the most recent, Leather, took home CMA Album of the Year in 2024. He's also put out four RIAA platinum-selling number ones: 'Til You Can't', 'The Painter', 'Dirt Cheap', and 'I'm Gonna Love You', which he recorded with Carrie Underwood. Between those, he's picked up a fair few Gold and Platinum certifications, and his career streams have topped 10 billion globally. His current hit 'The Fall' has already passed 150 million on its own, and his studio version of 'Travelin' Soldier' debuted at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He's not just a studio act, though. In 2025 he sold around 400,000 tickets playing across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the US, which included two back-to-back sold-out nights at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. The Tennessean called him the evening's biggest superstar and made a point of his underrated vocal style. He's known for explosive live shows and an electrifying stage presence, so that's what you're getting here rather than a quiet night in. He's often described as an artist who just might be the future of real country music.
