Wheeler Walker, Jr. performs his final album 'Pullin' Out' on his farewell tour, marking his retirement from the music industry.
Wheeler Walker Jr. is coming to ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Thursday, March 4, 2027, as part of his Pullin' Out: The Farewell Tour. It's a bit of a heavy title for a single show, and that's because it's actually his retirement tour. He's calling it quits, and this is one of the dates he's playing on the way out.
If you've never crossed paths with him, Walker is billed as country music's loudest outlaw: a hard-drinking, foul-mouthed hellraiser determined to drag country back to its outlaw roots, backed by top-tier session musicians and unapologetically Southern. He first exploded onto the scene in 2016 with Redneck Shit, and he's put out five albums since—Redneck Shit, Ol' Wheeler, WW III, Sex, Drugs & Country Music, and Ram—all of which hit #1 on Billboard's Comedy chart. He's amassed more than one billion career streams and earned two platinum and gold-certified records along the way.
He's pairing this retirement with one final album, PULLIN' OUT, produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb. Walker describes the project as a "loud, filthy, bourbon-soaked middle finger" at modern Nashville, and he's returning to hard-core country for this farewell tour. So the set will lean on that new material, though it's a good time to catch the older stuff too, since this is one of the last chances to see him live.
