The Mom and Pop Card Show is coming to Branch Park Pavilion on Saturday, July 18. It's a trading show for Pokémon, sports, and TCG collectors to buy and trade in person, and it's open to anyone who collects cards, whether you've been at it for years or just started.
If you're into trading cards, you know how much of the hobby has moved online. You scroll through listings, message sellers, and wait for the mail. This is the opposite of that. The whole point of the show is to get people together in one room so you can see the cards for yourself, talk shop, and make trades face-to-face. It's a space where you can trade the real thing rather than a digital listing.
That means you can bring your own collection to trade, or just come to browse and pick up a few things. The focus is on Pokémon, sports cards, and other trading card games, so it's a good spot if you're looking for something specific or just want to see what's out there. You'll find other collectors there doing the same thing, so it's as much about the community as it is about the cards.
