The 51st annual garage and estate sale with a preview party, early bird and general shopping sessions, and a box sale.
The Settlement Home for Children is bringing back its 51st Annual Garage & Estate Sale at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd. It's an Austin tradition that runs from Wednesday, November 4, through Sunday, November 8, and it's as much about the hunt as it is about the haul.
Inside, more than 2,000 items are spread across 21 departments, so you're not just digging through a few piles. You'll find jewelry, tools, vintage collectibles, and children's clothing, all at bargain prices. It's the kind of place where you can walk in looking for one specific thing and walk out with a whole new set of housewares you didn't know you needed. If you're not in the mood to buy, the sale also takes donations of unwanted household items, and there are volunteer and sponsorship opportunities if you'd rather put in some time than take home a few boxes.
The whole thing kicks off Wednesday night with the Preview Party from 7 to 10 PM. It's the most expensive ticket of the week, but it gets you first access to everything before the general public arrives, and it comes with dinner, drinks, and entertainment. After that, the main shopping runs Friday, November 6, from 9 AM to 8 PM; Saturday, November 7, from 9 AM to 4 PM; and Sunday, November 8, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Austin and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
