A Mexican Independence Day celebration featuring dance music by Fuego Santo, performances by DJ Rico Suave, and a dance class by El Guero.
Hotel Vegas & The Volstead Lounge are hosting a Mexican Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, September 16, with Fuego Santo and DJ Rico Suave leading the night. It's a full evening that runs from 9 PM to 2 AM, so you've got plenty of room to settle in rather than just dropping by for one set.
The night starts with a dance class led by El Guero at 9:30 PM, which is a good way to get moving before the music takes over. From there, the bill alternates between the live sound of Fuego Santo and the DJ sets of Rico Suave. Fuego Santo takes the stage at 10 PM, then Rico Suave steps in at 11 PM. Fuego Santo comes back for a second set at 11:20 PM, and Rico Suave closes things out starting at 12:30 AM. With the live band and the DJ trading off throughout the night, the energy shifts back and forth between the two rather than one following the other.
