Hotel Vegas Cumbia Night! ft. ADLK Hermanos Flores, Los Desechos, DJ Rambo & FREE Cumbia Dance Class

Hotel Vegas is hosting a Cumbia Night on Saturday, October 17, with ADLK Hermanos Flores, Los Desechos, and DJ Rambo taking turns on the bill. It's a full night of cumbia, and the whole thing kicks off early enough that you can learn the steps before the bands even start.

The evening opens with a free cumbia dance class taught by Ela La Dancer at 9:30 PM, so if you've never danced cumbia before, you can get your footing before the dance floor fills up. From there, the music takes over and doesn't let go. DJ Rambo starts things off at 10:00 PM, and Los Desechos follow at 10:30 PM. Rambo returns to the decks at 11:30 PM to keep the energy up until ADLK Hermanos Flores take the stage at midnight. After they finish, DJ Houser closes out the night starting at 1:30 AM.

Between the two live bands, the DJs hold down the room, so the music doesn't stop when the bands aren't playing. The dance class at the start means you can go from learning the moves to using them on the same night, and the late start for the headliners gives you plenty of time to settle in. The whole thing runs from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM at Hotel Vegas & The Volstead Lounge in Austin. Entry is $12 and it's 21+.
