Primos on the Patio with ulovei & Primo Jesse

ulovei takes over the patio at Hotel Vegas on Sunday, October 18, for Primos on the Patio, part of the venue's patio series. The afternoon runs from 3 PM to 10 PM, and the music leans on cumbia and hip-hop throwbacks. ulovei is an Austin-based artist, and they're bringing a full supporting cast for the day: The Cumbia Cuhh, Flor de la Frontera, La Güira de ATX, DJ Pelón, Little Jack, and Mazzivo. Primo Jesse will be on the grill.

It's a long stretch of an afternoon, so you can drift in and out. The music is the main draw, but there's food and drink to keep you there. You get free tacos when you buy a drink, and there's a Paleta Man on hand for paletas. Tecate, Dos Equis, and house margaritas are $4.99. The whole thing takes place on the patio at Hotel Vegas & Volstead Lounge in East Austin, which the organizers call the best patio on the east side.

If you're into this, there's a second part coming a week later. Hotel Vegas hosts Primos After Dark on October 25, with ulovei and Vintage Jay. That one's a separate party, so you can hit the patio on the 18th and then head back for the after-dark version the following weekend.
