Austin Pride's official kickball tournament followed by a victory afterparty at The Brewtorium.
Kicking with Pride returns to Gus Garcia District Park on Tuesday, August 18, for Austin Pride's official kickball tournament. It's a partnership with Austin SSC, and the whole thing is split into two parts: the tournament itself and a victory party that follows. The kickball runs from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the park, located at 1201 E Rundberg Ln, and registration is $25 per player through Austin SSC.
Once the games wrap up, the action moves to The Brewtorium at 1015 E St Johns Ave for the second half of the night. That's where the Champions Victory Crowning and the trophy presentation happen, followed by the afterparty, which runs from 9:00 to 11:00 PM. The afterparty is free to enter, so you can head over there even if you didn't play in the tournament.

Between the two, it's a long evening that starts on the field and ends at the bar. The tournament takes up the early part of the night at Gus Garcia, and the crowning and party take over the later hours at The Brewtorium. If you're playing, it's $25 per person to register; if you're just coming for the party, that part is free.
